Initial Point recently renovated two of our bathrooms, and we’re very happy with the result. Everything was completed within the promised timeframe, and all the tradespeople were professional, polite and did excellent work. Nish was flexible with design changes throughout the renovation, including adding LED lighting and heated towel rails. He also accommodated some extra tiling work in our laundry. We had no idea where to start with our bathroom renovation, but Nish made the entire process smooth, stress free, and easy to understand. From our first conversation, he was friendly, responsive, and genuinely interested in tackling the project. Putting everything in his hands gave us complete confidence. He was transparent throughout the project, answered every question we had, and kept us informed every step of the way. This was the first time we've ever had the pleasure of renovating a kitchen and we're glad to have Initial Point as our renovator. We were on a tight schedule but Initial Point pulled off a miracle and completed all works in 5 weeks. The old kitchen was demolished, including all the cabinetry and shelving in the pantry. Subsequently, - all the cabinetry were updated from rusty drawer runners and hinges to sleek finger-pull drawers and cabinets. - stone benchtop was replaced, enlarged and waterfall feature added - porcelain splashback added. - timber floors updated with laminate flooring for waterproofing, scratch resistance and simple elegance - sink and tapware updated from tiny rusted steel toy to wide granite undermount - accent lighting added for ambiance Naturally, we did not know in advance to add all those details. In fact, we were hardly aware of half of them. Fortunately, Initial Point guided us through and laid out the options. Overall, we're very pleased with the result. However, we're most pleased with how the process was managed. A cynical man can see how a project of this scale can run amok and create headaches and cost overruns. Fortunately, everything came together nicely. Naturally, it's the small things that count and here were the ones we appreciated: - communication via Whatsapp was a pleasant surprise - a good way to share ideas and photos. - Initial Point was ready and willing to help with other matters about the home, we had a large pile of old timber fencing gifted to us by the former homeowner and Initial Point organised its removal together with the demolition works - agreeing to take on a project with such a tight schedule - we had other renovating ideas, including updating carpets and lighting. Fortunately, Initial Point were there to provide meaningful and practical consultation, advising us on what could go and, more importantly, what could stay. - much to my surprise, Initial Point provided technical drawings of the proposed kitchen. I have a scientific background and these were greatly appreciated. Helped me to plan and scale the design where required. - invoicing was clear with the scope of services clearly detailed - Initial Point is still doing post work follow-up on customer satisfaction. Enagaged Nish and his company to renovate our bathroom and very pleased with the results. All of the costs were clearly explained and each one of the team who worked on site were very respectful and polite. The work was high quality and appreciated some of the additional design suggestions offered at certain points through the process. We engaged Initial Point to renovate our upstairs bathroom last year. Nish and his team were able to work around a tight timeframe of completing the project before Christmas. The communication was clear and consistent. The works were carried out to a high standard. We had a few glitches at the end of the project, which the team were able to remedy this year. Just be certain of the dimensions of the items you want in the bathroom, as we unfortunately went too oversized with the shower. But hopefully it will pay off in the end. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism and quality.
